Why haven’t we gone to the offices in Alberta and handed them a bag of tar sad? a handful of ancestral bones or remnants? Why haven’t we confronted security forces with these questions? Why have we not explained to the fellas in “sheriff” garb that what we are wanting is to preserve our babies’ futures’?? Folks walk out onto decimated territory and ask why they weren’t consulted first. They should be asking these security guys, "Why are you doing this? Imagine me as your grandma. Didn’t you have a grandma?? Would you allow giant machines to show up on her land and chop down the trees and lay down pipes that carry nasty chemicals?? What if the yard that you played in at your grandma’s house was plowed down and then pipes were built there with the possibility of bursting toxic chemicals all over?? what would that feel like?? That is what these heartlessly separated, powerful, money hungry, greedy monsters are doing. However, they are humans. They have children. They have grandmas. We have to bring them into the human realm. They are so far above it. They are so deeply insulated from what they are doing to individuals, people, parents, plants and animals…We Must shake them into what reality is for the rest of us.

I am looking for someone to create one or two demo clips for my website, similar to those already there but a bit longer, highlighting myself and a client making a full length legacy documentary. If you know of a filmographer interested please let me know.

With My Thanks,

Dear aboveallelsefilm.com Owner,

I’m Nick Williams, I work for a Digital Marketing Agency’ USA with the news you are looking for. If your website is analyzed by Google or Yahoo, the following limitations are evident –

1. An excess number of bad likes are killing your website prospects, Input your link: domain name in either Google or Yahoo search box, you can see for yourself.

2. Undesirable technical errors including HTML errors, broken links, missing image alt-tag etc shall lead to negative response. You can confirm it here – validator.w3.org, brokenlinkcheck.com, feedthebot.com/tools/alt/.

3. Check for duplicate or plagiarized content on copyscape.com to avoid penalization.

4. Organic traffic, social presence and targeted search results are poor for your website.

5. Are you ready for facilitating your website on mobile search yet?

I look forward to your reply.

I was looking for the cost of a camera to do short films with, and ran across ya’ll. I never heard of this film, and would like to see it. I have heard of Julia Trigg Crawford. I kept up with her battle on Facebook.

I find it amazing that our major TV stations haven’t said a word about such and important issue. I guess they’ve too busy doing dog and pony shows.

Could I buy a copy of “ABOVE ALL ELSE?”

Thanks,

Jerry Mayor

I am trying to order a copy of of the DVD for private viewing but it doesn’t seem that your system will accept my order because it can’t calculate the cost for shipping. I am in Canada. Perhaps you are not selling the DVD to Canadian addresses?

I viewed this movie recently on Netflix and really enjoyed it. I’ve recommended others interested the impacts of proposed pipelines should view this movie. I thought not only was the story interesting, but well told. The stories of the landowners and their struggles were compelling. Very interesting to see how eminent domain was twisted and how concerned all citizens should be about happening to them.

Prediction: It’s hard to predict a Springbok victory in the light of history old and new. It’s hard to predict a Springbok victory when comparing playing styles and the ability to score points. And so we think the All Blacks will win by more than 15.

Hi – I’m on the Great March for Climate Action – http://climatemarch.org/ – and we have seen the film twice, in Santa Fe and at Bold Nebraska’s energy barn at the KXL proposed route, with Julia Trygg Crawford there to talk about it with us afterwards. Great stuff!

I’ve already spread the word to likely groups in Eugene, Oregon where I’ve been living to see if they would like to arrange a showing, and was glad to see you already have one set up in Portland.

The march will be traveling through Iowa next, and a new pipeline has just been proposed there, so we would really like to screen the film when we are in Des Moines around August 13, and are wondering how to arrange that, and if the director John Fiege might be available to come talk afterward?

Thanks!

the League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area, a nonpartisan political organization, would like to show this film to our local community in Charlottesville Virginia. We would like a DVD or a download so that we can show it twice on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Would it be released by then so that we can purchase it? Or is there another way to have access to it?

Hi,

I live in rural america, northern new york and I cannot imagine what it must be like to be told your land is not actually yours anymore. My family owns 160 acres of beautiful mixed forest/riparian and it is my most spiritual connection to “home”. I would like information about scheduling a screening in my local theatre in Potsdam, NY. Thanks

I am a Board member for the Winnsboro Center of the Arts (location of this film). David Daniel (featured in the film) is also a Board Member. We would like to have permission for a screening and discussion of the complex and controversial issue at our non-profit Art Center (200 Market St. in Winnsboro, TX 75494 (903.342.0686). I have John Feige’s phone number but thought I would try a more formal approach first rather than a cold call to John who I know is very busy. Thanking you in advance, hope to hear from you soon. – Michael Alford

I’m with the Sierra Club in Topeka, Kansas and have been active in opposing the KXL and tar sands extraction. I’d like to screen this documentary. Can you let me know how? (We lack funding except our personal resources…)
